Miranda Hart Miranda Hart is an English comedian and actress. Her stage name is the nickname Miranda Hart. Best known for her performance in the self-titled semi-autobiographical sitcom Miranda which she is also credited with writing she is truly a class apart in the English comedy scenario which is predominantly male-oriented. It was described as a classic sitcom with a family feel and enjoyed by audiences of different ages due to a clean, family-friendly content. The show also garnered the comedian a number of awards and honors. Born into a family with an elite background, Hart is a descendent of the barons' family of marquesses, dukes and earls. Hart however does not believe herself as upper-class and has no pretenses. At the age of 16 she decided to pursue the path of acting as a result of growing up in Hampshire. She was confident and showed talent, so she began the path of a comedian. It would take several more years to achieve fame.
